This classic vision greets you as you enter. The Stairway to the second story bedrooms is centered with the living and dining to the West (left) and a small sitting "tea parlor" for intimate gatherings to the East (right).

The sitting parlor is a great place to pass an afternoon reading or entertain a friend for intimate conversation. The window faces south to the sea.

The formal Living Room is on a grander scale and offers south and west lawn views.

The dining room with classic French Doors that lead to the west lawn is approached from the Living Room (beyond) or the Kitchen (to the left).

The east side of the home features a covered kitchen porch with the door to the right leading to the separate and enviable laundry room. The door to the left leads into the kitchen. The kitchen garden flanks the brick path. Mendocino is the perfect climate for a year-round herb garden.

Laundry is a pleasure in these surroundings. Separate and apart yet easily reached from the kitchen, it's tucked away under the kitchen portico.

The Butler's Pantry, mudroom and planning desk make mundane tasks a pleasure.

When you see this kitchen you can almost hear sounds of the screen door slapping against the frame and the kids running in with an armload of daffodils for mom. This is a great kitchen in which to share cooking chores or spend a special afternoon creating a romantic dinner.

Any angle is a good one in this beautiful room. Take a seat and kibitz with the cook. Sit here for your midnight snack. Wonderful things will come from this kitchen equipped with all "the right stuff": Subzero fridge, Miele dishwasher, 48 inch Viking Range, cherry floors, maple counter tops.
